Book Club presents "Great Exhibition: The seven wonders of the world"

At the beginning of school year, students from 7 º I, 7 II, 7 III and 7 IV, led by teacher Patricia Bailoff, devoted to reading the book "The Seven Wonders of the World" Florencia Abbate, containing stories related to the wonders of the ancient world: "The Pyramids of Egypt, The Hanging Gardens of Babylon - The Temple of Artemis - The statue of Zeus - The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus - The Lighthouse of Alexandria, the Colossus of Rhodes .-
This work has required three months of study, promote the search for information, literary analysis of the stories, and that is why, to be submitted thirty groups of student researchers to present their films, models and books on Tuesday, June 10 starting at 8.15 pm. thus becoming, in a fair knowledge about the world of antiquity-The jury is composed of students from 8 th, 9 th year and teachers the institution.
During all this time has had contact with the writer of the book, which has been guiding the reading and the concerns of readers Education Unit No. 9. Florencia Abbate he studied Lyrics on University of Buenos Aires. He published among other books, a volume of poetry. Working as a journalist, published notes on the culture of different supplements daily and in many magazines. Some institutions have supported their work and traveled to Canada, Germany, Mexico, Nicaragua and El Salvador for writing projects. He has published: "The clear", "Deleuze for beginners," "American Literature for Beginners" and "The Grudge." It has a small editorial called Tantalum .-
